Info for slower growers who read the seed packet:

If you're a gardener, you no doubt enjoy adding new plants to your garden. Some plants may thrive making you feel blessedly green fingered whilst others fall at the first hurdle - be it slugs, the weather, disease or just being a mysteriously duff plant. After a while, the cost of all those new plants can start adding up. And just how many seeds does one person need in a pack?!

Here's a chance to indulge in some creative gardening at no cost by swapping plants and seeds. These could be plants that have spread, self-seeded or that you have made from cuttings. Seeds, bulbs, corms and other tuberous-y things included. Offer your spare plants via the Swap Forum.

Looking for something?
Equally, the site can be used to ask people for donations of specific plants that you are looking for. This could be a specific plant or you could be generally looking for plants suited to our climate or ones that don't get eaten by slugs for instance. If it's survived in one person's garden locally, it could do well in another too. To find out if anyone has what you're after, go to the Swap Forum.

Propagating plants
If you've not got any spare plants, then why not make some? On the Plant DIY page there are links to other websites with instructions on how to sow seeds, take cuttings, divide plants and so on.

Enjoy the website and here's hoping your garden thrives.

By using this site and its forum and by entering into any swaps as a result, you are agreeing to follow our guidelines. Spammers and other such pests will be mercilessly splatted.
